RVmagnetics unveiled its MicroWire sensor technology at the BIND 4.0 Demo Day held on July 6, 2023, at Bilbao’s Euskalduna Congress Hall.

About the Event

The event brought together 25 startups from the 7th edition of the BIND 4.0 Acceleration Program and 70 industry-leading corporate partners from the BIND 4.0 Platform, showcasing innovation in the Basque Country to an audience of approximately 500 attendees. RVmagnetics was selected as one of 35 finalists (and winners) to present its innovative temperature measurement solution for bolts and fasteners together with a client – corporate partner.

The Solution

During the Demo Day, Vladimir Marhefka of RVmagnetics, alongside Jon Mendiola, Technical Director at ERREKA Smart Fastening, highlighted the company’s cutting-edge contactless temperature sensing solution. This innovation enables real-time unitary temperature measurement, enhancing preload measurement accuracy by compensating for temperature variations without requiring stabilization time. The technology was demonstrated using Erreka's advanced bolt solutions.
