An invasive test in a medicine is a type of medical procedure that requires trained medical providers to use instruments that cut skin (or other connective tissue) or that are inserted into a body opening. Examples of invasive tests include biopsy, excision, cryotherapy, and endoscopy.
The industrial world knows invasive tests such as fatigue tests or any mechanical test when the material itself is damaged due to the test itself. They provide plenty of information, however, more perspective is the non-invasive test and predictive maintenance performed on the materials which might be done using MicroWire sensors.
